EV-3 vs. EV-2

This shows the evolution of our design. On the right is EV-3 - notice the corrugation for thermal management. EV-2 was much cruder design and did not have the universal axle structure (tribe). EV-3 is 1.4m2 and EV-2 is 1.7m2. The final design will be 1.566m2.

This is our third prototype - 50X concentration on silicon. Black gears interconnect the optics and all rotate in unison by a small stepper motor.
